This camera will pay for itself!!
(Kaleb Heitzman - 8/16/06)Wow! The camera definately pays for itself. I have owned the D50 for a year now. I own and operate a small photography business, kalebheitzman.com, and use this as my primary camera. I bought the D50, 18-55, 70-300, and SB-800 Speed Light for around ~$1600. I had a sale for about $400.00 just the other night that included a beautiful 16x20 print. It may be an entry level DSLR but it produces pro results. The 16x20 print did not look digital at all which is a plus in my book. It is full of features a pro would use but sophisticated enough to use in full auto and still produce gorgeous portraits. I would highly recommend this camera to the serious enthusiast and pro alike. There are only a few downsides. No screen protector, no manual white balance and thats really about it. Did I mention you can take High Qaulity JPEGS on one battery. It's a keeper!
