Great camera
(Glenn Geelhoed - 11/9/06)Having owned two studios in San Diego and eleven Nikon 35mm film cameras, all I can say is Wow! This camera came out of the box with two days to learn and go on a Yosemite trip and I have some awesome pictures. I also shoot Fuji 6x8 and Sinar 4x5 so I know my cameras. I spent six years out of the photography business but had wanted to get a digital slr without going over board off the bat so the D50 seemed good on paper. Well I got the camera, 18-55 lens, 1 gig card and was off to Yosemite for ten days. It was easy to use since my last SLR Nikons were F4, N90, N8008s so it was east to get going. I will say that there is so much to learn though, I have tried to change tonal curves with goofy results but right out of the box I got fantastic shots.
