How do I go to continuous shooting?

There should be a dial on the camera where you can switch to different modes, such as Macro, with the flower, or landscape, etc. There should also be a mode there with either 3 square boxes next to each other or a man running, or something to that effect, which should be the continuous shooting mode.

It has the continuous button in the upper left hand corner, I tried holding the button and turning the wheel on the right to go to continuous but to no avail.

To choose a shooting mode, press the [multiple shot/page] button and rotate the command dial until the desired
mode is displayed in the control panel

Thanks all but I bought the Nikon D60 and sold the D50.
