D60 or D3000?

The D60 started in 2008-the D3000 in 2009. which is the better camera? The features seem to be about the same what am I missing?

I think it comes down to where you're at with your experience. If you're just starting out, it may be a bit too much to handle learning curve wise. Whereas, an entry level DSLR like the D60 will allow you to ease into the DSLR world and then will grow with you. Then, once you're ready to go for a more advanced body, your lenses will transition quite nicely to the D3K.
