Great camera!
( - 6/19/06)Yes you can point and shoot with this camera however, if you want great pictures you'll need to study and take the time to learn the controls. It is very easy to learn and the controls are awesome. I can set ISO, WB, shutter speed and all other necessary settings quickly with a push of a button or rolling the commander dial, it's all right there! I don't understand the "bashers" of this camera, take the time to learn it and you will be very pleased with the results.
