D70s when shutter is depressed:black + "Err" message

My D70s stopped working: battery ok, memory card ok, but whne shtter is depressed:black + "Err" message, shutter pressed second time clears this, but no photo. Please help

Please let me know if you're still having this issue, I might be able to help. Make sure your lens is properly attached and do a camera reset if necessary.

problem turned out to be the shutter motor brushes
motor had to be replaced
not so good for a ca,era which was only a few months old
