Well, there are macro lenses available for each. I have a soft spot in my heart for Pentax as it was my first SLR. However, the strong point of a Nikon is the glass. Nothing beats a Nikkor lens for clarity and sharpness. And with macro being all about detail, I'm leaning to the Nikon.
