Absolutely. That's the beauty of the Nikon system, the legacy lens support goes back 50 years.

Not all Nikon Digitial Camera support the fine analog camera lenses. Can you be more specific about this camera please?

What do you mean? Nikon cameras do support the legacy of slr film lenses. Some you may have limited auto functions, but they'll work. If you're talking outside of lens compatibility, please be more specific.

Some of the newer bodies will not mount the older lenses. I don't know where to look for that information; thought you might know. Thanks.

Ken Rockwell has a nice breakdown on Nikon lens compatibility, which should make it more clear.

Look on Nikon's website. There is a listing of each digital SLR and compatibility with each nikkor lense type.
