Can I use a Tamron AF 28-200mm lens?

It's about 10 years old and i was using it on my Canon EOS Rebel. I want to upgrade to DSLR and like the D90. I'm hoping the old SLR Tamron lens will work with the Nikon DSLR.

You'd need to use a lens adapter which would move from Canon's EF mount to a Nikon mount. It would also only work on manual. You'd also lose a stop of speed and have some clarity issues. You'd be far better off selling that lens on ebay and applying the money you make towards a native solution.

I agree. No auto focus, and not a very good solution at all. sell it and get yourself the nikon 18-200 (or the tamron or sigma which are cheaper, but not as good) and the 35mm 1.8 for low light situations!
