I am an amateur when it comes to DSLR's. I just recently bought a D90 with a 18-200mm lens and a 16mm fisheye which was the recommendation from a good friend. I was pretty happy with it until recently when one of my friends was showing me his canon and some of the features. One of the features, you can set it to take a black and white photo, and it will also focus on one other colour in the pic so you can choose green or red... pretty cool effect. Does the D90 have this? I am thinking of switching to the Canon equivalent of what I have... what do you think?

You don't really need to switch. First off, camera images are processed in color first and then the color is stripped to make it black and white.

You can do that, plus the color focus technique in software like Adobe Photoshop Elements. It really is the best way to do it because if you don't like how it turns out, you have added advantage of an "undo" button.
