How does Nikon L100 perform in comparison to canon powershot SX 110is ???? Which one is better???

pls dont mention that canon has more manual controls... i am aware of tht... am more eager about the performance part.. :)

check out this resource. But frankly, although Nikon DSLRs are a cut above, they're point and shoot cameras have really been struggling the last few years. I'd go with the SX110IS.

Good website listed by James. For what it's worth, I just bought my 4th Canon Powershot, and the camera box states "100 million Powershots" --- so Canon must be doing something right.

There are some other web sites that are good, such as http://dpreview.com and http://dcresource.com.

But ..... there's nothing quite like holding the cameras in your hands to give them the 'ergonomic' test, in other words, do you really like the way they fit YOU.
