repaired twice - ON /OFF switch

My C5050 has been sent back to the supplier twice for the same fault, the first time after only 1 month and then again a year later. As I live in Cyprus this meant sending it back to the UK both times - time and money. The handling back to Olympus and aftersales by my supplier, Digital First Ltd was excellant. The fault, the On/Off switch faulty both times and the camera out of action. Otherwise the only quibble I have is the lens cover, I soon bought a hinged version from another source. Sadly the LCD screen is virtualy useless unless it is inside out of the light like most of its type - apart from these problems the results and useability are fine - but I must admit I always carry another camera now if I am away from home in case the switch goes again. It is my first experience of Olympus as I have had Minolta SLRs for the last 35 years (still have them - no problems with the SRT 101)
