zoom is in effect; camera not working--won't come on; changed batteries several times

camera 2 years old; worked beautifully, except slow. Now, the zoom lens is out, but camera won't come on. changing batteries doesn't help.

That doesn't sound good. I think it might be time for a servicing. Unless someone has had this same issue? I have not seen it on this camera. More imput would be helpful.

Hi, I noticed that you haven't marked any replies as the "best answer." Are you still looking for an answer?
