I took mine back

I bought this camera for the 10x zoom feature. I'm going to Alaska and I wanted to be able to get great shots of things far away. When I experimented with the camera after buying it, I discovered that the camera was very sensitive to any movement at all. Even in sports mode the pictures would blur if you zoomed past 4x. The night conditions for the camera was iffy. If you could manage to not breath while taking the picture it would come out alright. However, I found it frustrating that the picture itself was fuzzy on the LCD screen when focusing to take the actual shot. I like to be able to see what I'm taking a picture of before I hit the button. The camera did focus the object 50% of the time, but it took a long time.

For a first time digital camera user I would not suggest this camera unless you've had significant experience. I'm sure it's a great Intermediate digital camera, but I didn't want to have to carry a tripod with me everywhere I went just to get clear pictures.
