Failed after only 60 shots

Capable of taking great images if proper care is used. Focussing is most problematic —must depress button half-way at least twice, three times is better before taking image. Fails on fuzzy objects, bushes or flowers frequently. MacBeth color checker tests show 2-3 chips off-color. Noise is obvious at higher ISO, and a real downer. Camera failed on serious photo-trip to remote area —got nothing but horizontal lines overlain by fuzzy blue and orange stripes. Really weird. Would not recommed for any purpose except high-cost doorstop.
