Takes great pictures

This camera takes wonderful pictures. It automatically adjusts the lighting to compensate for low light situations or ones that are too bright. Any amateur can take great shots with this camera. The camera is not compact but is worth its weight for the quality of the photos. This is the first digital camera that I have owned that produces photos comparable to a 35 mm camera. The camera takes 2 different memory cards and so I am able to use an Xd card with a compact flash card for backup. What a great feature - no need to change memory cards at an inconvenient time. The battery lasts a long time - and there is a meter to show how much charge is left. I carry a spare battery just in case.

This camera takes professional looking photos. I crop and enlarge most of my images to 8x10's - the results are clear and crisp.
