Rethink it...

I like this camera. It is well built, easy to use, good ergonomics, nice feel - ooops, I left out picture quality. Even with all the settings "massaged", I can't get good quality photos out of this camera. My Sony T1 (5MP) took better photos. The color is off, the focusing is off, the sharpness is off. I just don't understand how a camera the size of a credit card could take better pictures than this thing. I have had many, many SLR's and other digital cameras from Fuji, Nikon, Sony, Pentax etc. and this just wasn't worth the $900 at Costco. Nice camera, but if you can't tell the difference in the photos - what's the point?? I realize this isn't the glowing review of the others here, but that is my take on it. Please feel free to e-mail me if you have any suggestions on camera settings, (I think I have tested them all!). PWR
