Vairable Angle LCD e-510 olympus

It says on the olympus website that the E-510 has a variable angle LCD monitor. HOW ON EARTH DO I GET IT TO DO THAT? i cant find it anywhere in the manual that came with it!!!! Can you please explain, step by step, how i get the screen to flip out??

The E-510 doesn't have a variable-angle LCD. If the Olympus website says it does, it's wrong. Sorry.

I believe what Olympus mean by variable angle (if that's what they stated) is that the LCD screen can be viewed from variable angles i.e from below, above, from the side, rather than just from straight on. I now have the E510 and can recommend the Live View as not just a gimmick but very handy. Rather than squinting through the eye monitor, I can now focus, zoom and display settings on the LCD......... Works for me!

thanks guys,

i realise now the website refers to the E-310 where the screen can actually come out from the camera itself .

i love my E-510 however so i am not that phased, its an added extra that i didnt really need.
