Will old Olympus OM 10 Lens fit on a new Olympus Didgital?

We have an Olympus OM 10 with a suit case full of TAMRON lens that fit the OM 10. We would like to up grade to a digital camera but were wondering if it is worth trying to buy a camera that our old lens would work on. I'm beginning to think that we should just buy the digital SLR camera we want and build from there.

You will need to buy a lens adapter before you can attach the OM10 lens to the new Olympus dSLR.
There are a few disadvantages of using the adapter and it is all detailed on this page

Go through the list of what can be done and what cannot be done before you decide what to do.

Personally, I would prefer starting all over again and invest in a new system. You will free yourself of all the functions that adapters fail to do and let you concentrate on your creativities and enjoy photography.

Thank you bukit97. I have purchas a Nikon D60 with the 18-55mm lens and also added the 55-200mm lens for my wife for Christmas. The lady who was resistant to enter the digital world of photography. However, after just having the camera for one day she has definitel become sold on the idea. We are also finding that with the ability to us the "trim" feature we may not need as many lens's as with the old 35mm film camera.
