cracked lcd

my neice has an olympus fe-180 and evidently she has dropped it because the screen has a crack (looks like lightening) across one side though you can't really feel it. The camera takes pictures but you can't see them through the lcd.

HB,

You may be able to get the camera repaired by Olympus, but I don't think a dropped camera is covered by the warranty. If she has property insurance, she may be able to defray some of the cost that way. Otherwise, if she wants to use the LCD, she may have to purcahse a new camera. Good luck.
