The 565 seems lighter than SX10is, but which has the sharpest lense

570 seems to have a better lense, but I'm after super clear landscapes
thruout entire range from wide to telephoto. I've had good luck with
my film canon, but I'm open to 565,570,Lumix or canon. What to choose under$400.???

I used to shoot with the SP560 and really enjoyed it. But in this comparison, it's a horse race at the lower ISOs between the SP565 model and the SX10is. Very similar, good detail. But when you get to ISOs above 800, as noise begins to creep in the SX10is begins to pull away with better detail that would normally be lost. The SP, however, does have a better macro setting.
