What type of USB cable should I ask for if I'm buying one?

I need a USB cable for my OLYMPUS FE-230, but I don't know which one should I ask for?

USB cables are easy to find. The best bet is to use a High Speed Internet 2.0 USB cable. You can get them just about anywhere...This 2.0 usb, is an upgrade from the first ones that came out in the market. It is much faster when transfering photos to a pc..

You should be asking for Olympus CB-USB7 Compatible USB Cable.

This cable is characterised by having a mini USB flat 8 pin male connecttor at one end and a USB type A male connecttor at the other. see the pictures at this location

Any ordinary USB cable won't do.

Alternatively, just buy a card reader to download the pictures to the computer.
