When I turn it on, Card Set up comes up, bells ring, power off and format come up? help, must have today

Turn it on, screen shows Card set up at top left
bottom right shows Power off and underneath that shows word F0rmat and bells rang when turned on
I know it's not the battery

First thing I would do is reset the camera. This is a fairly easy procedure which involves either going into your setup menu and choosing "reset," holding down the menu key for 5 seconds, or, removing the batteries for a few minutes. It may be that the firmware loading got corrupted and the camera just needs to be "rebooted," which is something that turning it on/off won't accomplish. But after which, you should have the camera reset to factory default settings.

Another tip is to go to Olympus' website and look for firmware updates. Download and install them.

Dear Camera smart person, I cannot thank you enuf
I kept doing what you said, wasn't working, but somehow after hitting menu and any other button I could find, it was ok?
I have not dropped it and this is the very first time something like this has happened
again, thanks very much

Well sometimes a camera's firmware doesn't load correctly and resetting the camera can help. Glad you solved the problem.

Im having the same issue, but everything you mentioned above is not working. I took out the battery for some time, reset it more than once, and hit the menu key for 5 sec and nothing. Any other ideas
