inquiring the video modle difference and a troublesome from the store

how about its vedieo function?Is it better than the VGA mode?I buy new one and the seller recommend the 7000 but not the 7010
I bought 7000 last afternoon in 10 Bromfield Boston,MA. The seller told me it is brand new,however when I check it in home,I found it is so dirty in the LCD which is not covered by a plastic paper.I believe it is a reestablished one but has the brand new price. How can I do?
