Batteries for this camera!!!

I have this camera, and I love it. All except for the battery life. I have 2 batteries for my camera and neither one of them last very long. Has anyone experienced this? Or can anyone tell me what I could possibly be doing wrong that would drain my battery so fast? OR any advice on a new different battery to try.

THe first question I would ask is, did you completely charge it up overnight before using it? When ou get a new LiOn battery, you need to charge it up overnight, completely deplete it, charge overnight, deplete it and charge overnight again. Then, from then on it's sufficiently "broken in" to get the max capacity out of it. If you just plugged it in for a few hours and then went to use it, then it didn't get it's full first charge.
