What model would you recommend? We bike, swim, snowboard, etc....picture quality and fast shutter times are important!!

I am looking to upgrade/replace my Fujifilm Finepix A500 after it broke after flying across a room....my husband and I (we also have a 7 month old that will be dropping the camera a lot I presume!) do a LOT of mountain biking, snowboarding, wakeboarding, camping, hiking, etc...My Fujifilm (although it was only a 5.1 MP) took excellent quality photos that I could blow up to 8X10...I'd like to upgrade that to make larger prints with vivid colors, but I also want the camera to be durable and "pool-proof"! What would you recommend, any imput would be appreciated!!!

I ended up buying the Stylus SW 1050........it has a few more features than the 850. I haven't been able to try it out in any of the conditions for which I ordered it......................but I did use it in the bathtub and the sink and the good news is it still works!
I have played with the various features and the pictures look great. I did take it to the zoo with my grandchildren.......................it seemed a little slow and I missed the shots I really wanted...............but then most of these are a little slow....and I really only want it for the beach and skiing.

Yeah, the good thing about the olympus 1000 series is its probably the most weather-resistant camera that they have. The weather seals are pretty amazing, because you can drop it in snow, water (not too deep though), plus it resists sand and dust damage. Remember, resistant and proof are two different words, so be careful either way. I completely agree with Karen though, go for the 1050, its definitely worth the investment.
