Editors' Comments

The next generation of Panasonic ultra compact cameras. The Panasonic DMC-FX9 improves upon it's predecessor, the FX8, with 6 megapixels, image stabilization, and Panasonic's 'extended optical zoom' feature. This feature allows for optical zooming beyond the standard limit, trading megapixels in exchange for distance (up to 4.1x at 3MP on the FX9). The sharp, 2.5" LCD is great for previews, but also for use as a built in photo album.
