Can I use a SDHC card in this camera( DMC-FZ20)?

Can I use any SDHC card? How about a 2GB or an 8GB Class 4?

With the age of the camera, the ceiling is probably going to be 2GB. But that isn't a bad thing. Having more than one of a smaller size card will guard against losing a great shot should the card get corrupted. If so, then swap it out and you're back to taking pictures.

The first answer by James DeRuvo was good; however, he used the word "probably" which didn't actually answer my question. I want to know if I can use a SDHC card that is rated at 2GB & one rated at 8GB class 4 before I purchase same.

A 2GB card isn't an SDHC card. High Capacity cards start at 4GB. You won't be able to use the 8GB unless Panasonic has released a firmware update to address that.
