Fantastic camera but...
( - 3/29/06)I was looking at buying into the lower end (read affordable) of the digital .SLRs. Thankfully I was saved by a salesman who told me about the FZ30. It's a fabulous camera with enough bells and whistles to keep technophiles happy, whilst program and auto mode does all the thinking for you.
It's also fantastic not to experience the auto-focus lag of my FujiFinepix 4900. No more shots of bare trees where a flock of birds once sat while auto focus chugged away, or blurred shots of too active pets and kids.
The only minus: the instruction booklet - some parts are not easy to figure out, other than that owning the FZ30 is a slice of camera heaven.
