awesome camera even for a novice
( - 4/7/06)I have owned the panasonic dmc-fz30 and previously the fz10. I was happy with the fz10, but the fz30 is fantastic! The features are easy to use and it produces great pics. One thing that does annoy me though it is the fact that pana only give a tiny sd memory card as standard, making it a necessity to buy a big sd card (I bought a 1gig, apparently the fz30 can only handle up to a 2gig card). I have been impressed with the pana range that I have recommended them to family and friends (sold the fz10 to a friend, a mate bought the fz20 and my parents got the fz5) who have also been just as happy with the pics they have taken. I am looking forward to learning more about my fz30 and even keener to check out the replacement (fz40?) when it comes out here in australia in about september this year.
