Nikon Coolpix L11 vs. Olympus FE210

I already have two good digicams, but I want something slim enough to carry daily. I like the Kodak M853 but everyone gives it bad reviews. So between these two the Coolpix L11 or the FE210... which would be better. I'm looking for a digicam for under $150, and I like a li-ion battery those these use AA. I need some fast input. Thank you.

Jay,

Both of these cameras use AA batteries, so I'm not sure you're going to get what you want out of them. If I had to choose between them, I would go with the Nikon L11. It has slightly larger ISO capabilities (better for low lighting, but not the highest out there at 800), and I've used Nikon CoolPix cameras before and found them very easy to use.

I would also like to suggest you look at the Panasonic FX10. It has a lithium ion battery, is a sub-compact camera that will easily fit in your pocket, and it has an ISO range up to 3200. While you will notice more noise or "graininess" in your photos at this setting, it will perform better in low light situations. It also has image stabilization, which the other two cameras don't, and costs as low as $130 right now. Good luck and happy shooting.

Andrew

After debating about which digicam to get, I fell back to the things I liked about the camera. I liked the Nikon because it tells you when a shot is blurred or not, which is better than thinking it's good but is not once it's on your computer. I went some place and happily found it for less than $95, and it has 6mp and 3x zoom. Thank you very much Andrew, and Happy New Year to you.
