panasonic fx37 or fx500 ? Which is better?

These cameras are almost exactly the same. I think the only real difference is that the fx500 has a 3" screen instead of the Fx37's 2.5" screen. Everything else looks the be the same. Also I think the Fx37 is Silver, while the Fx500 is black. The fx500, because of the larger screen, is slightly more expensive (about $20).

Previous answer is wrong. FX500 has larger body, manual controls and a touch screen. both models area available in silver and black.

Sorry, I did happen to look over the touch screen upgrade, but I think there's a very little difference in body size, and the Fx37 should have the same core manual controls, such as exposure, aperture, and shutter speed.

No, the FX37 does not have manual exposure controls or shutter controls. You can control the white balance and ISO but not the aperture or shutter speed.
