Panasonic's first foray into the digital SLR market didn't go exactly as they had planned. The L1's 'Live View' implementation, one of the first to offer LCD shot previews, failed to capture the attention of consumers, and Panasonic went back to the drawing board. The result is the L10, a lighter, less expensive dSLR aimed at more traditional users. The L10 retains 'Live View,' with a few modifications meant to make it more useful, and places the LCD on a cool, swivel arm for easy use. The biggest improvement is in the design; small and light, perfect for a photographer on the go.
