Where can I purchase a connector to computer? Why doesn't Panasonic give one free?

I've taken a lot of pictures but was not given a Ub cord to connect to computer nor a disc. Other cameras I have purchased included this item.
One serious reason not to buy panasonic again even though I like my camera very much!

All cameras come with a USB cable. Perhaps you bought it used? Look in the manual for the model # of the USB cable and search for it online.
