A camera for serious amateurs, the Lumix LZ10 features full manual controls that will let the experimental user get the most out of its 10.1-megapixel sensor and 30mm wide-angle lens. The lens offers 4x optical zoom, and is supported by Panasonic's usual Mega O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization) system, which can reduce blur caused by camera shake. For the less adventurous, the camera also includes an "Intelligent Automatic" mode, which incorporates Mega O.I.S., Intelligent ISO, Face Detection, and Intelligent Scene Selector to produce well-balanced and exposed photos in all conditions. Finally, its 2.5-inch LCD screen is sensitive to environmental conditions, and will automatically adjust brightness and contrast to improve visibility in all circumstances.
