Which camera do you recommend?

I have a Kodak CX7330 digital camera and it works great for taking everyday pics however, its horrible for taking event pics. Concert pics look horrible even if your on the front row, they all blurred. I recently took some pics at a school Christmas play and it was not dark at all but yet they all blurred even when the subjects were standing still. I am wanting to buy a new camera but I am stumped on which one I should buy. I want to be able to get good pics at concerts, school events and all other shots I may take. Which is the best one to buy? I would prefer to stay under the $200, less if possible. I'm not sure what the difference is in the point & shoot versus the SLR but if one is better and not too complicated to use it doesn't make a difference to me. I've heard you can adjust the ISO settings to the highest help with blurred pics but I do not know how to that on my current camera. I would really appreciate your camera recommendations. Thanks!

It will tough to make a major upgrade for $200 but I have a great suggestion for $220. The Panasonic Lumix TZ1 is a great compact camera with many improvements over your kodak, for a reasonable price. The 10x Optical Zoom is great with what you are looking to do, plus an ISO rating up to 1600. It is a great all around camera for a cheap price. Check out the user reviews as well, they are very high.

Good Luck!

I may be willing to pay as high as $300 if I know it will take good concert pics. I'm hoping I may be able to find a good camera on Ebay. Thank you so much for your help, I absolutely don't know anything about cameras. Thanks again!
