mode dial is not in proper position comes up in movie , does takes still pics( 2 years old)

-own a TZ3, 2 years old,mode dial is not in proper position when i move it to movie,
-clip boards, and scene 2 is not recognized but movie mode when turned off and then re started in "I" mode sometimes(rarely) will take still pics. I love this camera but need all of it to work. Help please, thanks so much.

Have you reset it? Check with Pansonic for a firmware update. But as for the mode dial, you may need it repaired.
