Power Loss on Pentax ist D

When changing my image format from jpeg to RAW, my camera power died and since then will not power back up. It is simply dead. Up to this point, had never had any problems. Power switch appears to function properly but no power to camera. Switched batteries, everything I could think of. This is rather dissappointing since the camera is only about a year old and was rather expensive. Any ideas?

You might try calling Pentax warranty support to see if you are still under warranty. If not, you can still try contacting their product repair center. Good luck.
