You get more for your Money
( - 5/15/06)My film slr camera was a PENTAX K1000 it was a great camera and served our needs until we drove over it a few years ago. I have been waiting for a better price to get a digital slr camera and boy I am I glad I did. It takes great pictures...it has all kinds of EASY to manipulate menu functions. You can see your image in b & w, sepia etc. It is light weight and FUN to use! The kit lens is really nice, but I also want to add another lens for close-ups too. You can't go wrong with the purchase of this camera. It is the best camera I have ever owned!!!
