Does Canon 400D digital has stability control ?

Does Canon 400 D has image stability conrol (shaking hand in long exposure)

Hi,

The 400D doesn't have any in-body image stabilization technology, unfortunately. The only dSLRs I know of that include this feature are the Sony a100 and the Pentax K100D. However, you can buy lenses for the Canon that have an in-lens stabilization feature.

The 400D (body-only) is cheaper than most DSLRs because of the fact that the stabilization is not built in... many of the lenses do have it though, as Ben said. Canon lenses are great, though, and if you're buying the 400D you will probably want to invest in a few extra lenses anyhow, so you shouldn't let the lack of stabilization in the body be a factor.
