K1000 lenses fall under the category of " Lenses and accessories that cannot be used with this camera "
If you still wants to use the lens, you will have to go to " Custom Setting " of K100D and select " Use of Aperture Ring ".
Set it to " Permitted " and you will be OK.
However, you will have to set the aperture manually with such lenses. This should not be a problem for people who are used to K1000. So go ahead, take the plunge and buy the camera.
