Turn the mode dial to set up, the symbol with a spanner and a screw driver.
Press menu
use left button to select 'set-up 3'
use down button to select 'reset no.'
click 'OK'
A new folder will be created with 0001 as the first picture file.
For example if your original folder is 100, the new folder will be 101 and the next reset will create a folder 102. The file number will always start with 0001 such as 102-0001, 103-0001 and so on.
Should you have difficulties, remove the SD card. Then format the internal memory.
Repeat the reset procedure above. That settles the internal memory.
Next, re-install the SD card. Repeat the reset procedure. You will get a new folder with 001 as the first picture on the SD card.
