Lens stuck - apparently my fault!
(Josephine Macan - 6/3/07)My husband bought me Pentax T20 for Christmas and I loved it! Used it all the time and took some pretty good pictures from it. About 4 months later the lens got stuck in the out position. I took it back to the shop the next day and a week later received a phone call to say that apparently I had dropped it and they were not going to fix it. Given that there are no scratch marks, impact marks, witnesses to verify my claim and low and behold - I actually didn't do anything to it! I have been told that it won't be fixed under warranty and the quote they gave me is 2/3 of the purchase price. I have asked them to send it back unfixed and will purchase a new camera - any suggestions?
