Pentax's E10 Doesn't Measure Up
The Pentax E10 has received overwhelmingly negative reviews from DCHQ users. Read on to see their complaints and avoid a similar headache.

The enlightened and trustworthy readership of Digital Camera HQ have come down hard on the Pentax E10, lambasting it for poor focus, terrible picture quality, slow shutter speed, and a voracious appetite for batteries. According to one user, "About 85% of the time the pictures are blurry, which is infuriating. And the image quality is not nearly as clear as my previous Canon. I consider this camera a waste of my money." It seems that in attempting to provide a low-cost alternative for point-and-shoot consumers, Pentax underestimated their audience and underdeveloped the E10.
This stands in stark contrast to the ever-popular Sony DSC-P200, a 7 megapixel ultracompact camera that costs only a little more than the E10. It is one of DCHQ's all-time favorite cameras, and has a flawless, perfect score of 5 out of 5. The P200 is definitely worth checking out if a small, point-and-shoot is what you're looking for. It may be more expensive, but the improvement in quality is certainly worth it.
