Very Sensitive to ambient heat! Will shut down.
(Jim - 7/4/09)Overall a good camera, easy to use, incredible range of features, and quick start at power-on. However, I am finding it to be sensitive to any ambient heat - as cameras get smaller and pack more chips and motors into their tiny frames, the heat builds up quickly and takes a long time to dissipate. This camera's manual mentions the heat sensor, and the shut-down it triggers, but twice now it has refused to operate under normal summer shooting conditions. Ease of use and range of features are meaningless if the camera WON'T WORK!
