Sony A200 or A300?

I currently own a Minolta maxxum HTsi plus but I see the advantages of digital. Since I have 2 good lenses for the Minolta I'm hesitate to scrap them, thus I'm looking at the Sonys bodies. Question is, is the live view and other features of the 300 worth the price difference and/or the chance of failure over the 200?

You betcha. It's a very good feature for a serious photo hobby. No real change of failure.
