I have an old Minolta SPxi with Minolta and Sigma lenses--will they fit the A350?...

As far as I know, Sony Alpahas accept Minolta lenses.

Yes, since Sony inherited the Minolta camera line (not to mention the service contracts) they have improved on the design while keeping the same lens mout. So yes, you can uses them. Worst case though, you may not have certain auto features. But manual is always available.

The catch is that the Minolta must be new enough to accept the A-mount (autofocus) lenses. The A lenses are the ones that fit the Sony cameras. The SPxi does indeed use the A mount lenses.

I bow to Brenda P! It's prbably a good thing because I seem to recall those older Minolta autofocus lenses were very slow.

I have an old Minolta SRT-201 (bought it new in 1977) and have many Minolta lenses and a Vivitar 300mm zoom lens. My question is will these Minolta lenses fit the Sony Alpha A350 camera? What about the other new Sony SLR Cameras? Thanks for your help in advance.
