Got just what I wanted

( - 11/9/04) I've been "eyeing" this camera for a while now. It was a blessing that I purchased it at a great price. I wanted the camera because of several factors. Example: The swivel body, 8mp lens, the duality of using the camera in auto or manual modes, the ability to choose the MP (1,3,5,8) that I want, plus some other things that I've not discovered yet. So far, I'm very satisfied with my camera. I have not discovered the "fringing" yet that every one has spoken about. On the down side, if you're going to take pictures indoors, get a better flash. I took over 50 pics indoors, most of them came out dark. Close-ups are great, but beyond 7-9 feet, you need a flash.
