how can I load my pictures using vista window's home premire

it seem that when I connect the usb cord it's not compatable?

That's not uncommon as Vista had numerous compatibility issues when it came out. If you haven't updated to SP1 or SP2, I'd suggest you do so. Also, check with SONY for a driver update. But better yet, why not get a USB card reader and transfer the pictures that way - that way it's a simply drag and drop.
