I have an error 6005,upon trying to install the viewer for dsc-w100

I had installed the viewer for my dcs-w100 and it worked great.Upon formatting my PC (and not right away)I decided to install the viewer again. The problem is that I get an error -6005.I have a screenshot of the problem.I have done what it says.My zonealarm is shut down, my antivirus and everything else. One other thing,I tried this in "safe-mode" but I get the same error.Thank all in advance!

This may mean that your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Check the manual for the viewer, it should list required minimums. Then right-click on My Computer and check your Properties, and make sure you have all the space etc. that you need.

Well thank you for the answer but I managed to install it.As I mentioned I had it installed before,so it couldn't be my requirements. Not my PC.I went in to "safe-mode" and managed to get the "temp" folder empty. It seems there was something in there that would not let the viewer install. Some sort of conflict maybe a virus.Anyway since you are the only one who replied and I thank you again you have the best answer!

Take care
Chris

That's good that you got it to work! Even though you had it installed before, it could have been a minimum requirement problem, since possibly you had used up your memory or something since your last install. Whatever it was, really glad it's working!
